Thieves steal 400 televisions from back of lorry as driver slept
When the driver woke in the morning he discovered the side curtain of the truck had been slashed open and 414 Blaupunkt televisions had been stolen overnight.
More than 400 TVs were stolen from the back of a lorry while the driver slept in his cab.
The truck was parked up overnight between 19 and 20 December on Richmond Road on the Trafford Park industrial estate.
When the driver woke in the morning he discovered the side curtain of the truck had been slashed open and 414 Blaupunkt televisions had been stolen.
Police believe the thieves loaded them into another vehicle and drove off.
They are now appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in this area, or who has been offered Blaupunkt TVs in suspicious circumstances to call police on 101.
