SHO Miprur Police Station Raja Jameel killed in Clashes between opposition party and Government in Charhoi Kotli. Opposition party PMLN is against the decision made by government of AJK to transfer Tehsil Offices from Charhoi city.
There was tension in the area from last couple of weeks. PMLN Workers gathered and start protesting against government. They tried to forcibly stopped government employees from working at office. They threw stones on police and SHO Mirpur City police station killed during these clashes. 8 other men also injured during clashes.
Raja Jameel was appointed in Charhoi after Extra Police Force was called by AJK Govt. from Mirpur to handle situation in Charhoi Tehsil.
A stone hit on head of SHO Raja Jameel and he died on spot.
