People living near River Banks are involved in Illegally Wood capturing, says Ch Ayub

Dadyal (6th September2014- Bureau Report) Due to strong currents in River Jhelum, Poonch and Mangla Lake and the wood floats in these flooded waters, but the residents living near banks of these rivers capture and steal this wood which is actually the property of the Forest Department. Therefore it is important to stop this stealing of wood.

These views were expressed by Ch Mohammad Ayub sub-divisional Magistrate Dadyal while talking to the journalists.

He further said that the authority provided to me under Act 144 I have ordered that no one will be allowed to steal wood from River Poonch, Jhelum and any one found guilty of the deed will be prosecuted under Act188 of Penal Code of law.
